15 Days/14 Nights Itinerary – Kenya And Tanzania Combo

Enjoy your early morning breakfast before you check out and depart to Amboseli. Arrive in time for check in and lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Amboseli has evergreen forests fed by the underground water and the melting snow from Mt. Kilimanjaro; this makes it one of the best National Parks with many small water points and springs. The park is a home to large herds of elephants and diverse species of animals including predators. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge on full board

This day will be spent exploring the park. The waters from melted Snow drains down the Mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of Swamp land amidst dusty plains. Here elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, warthogs, zebra and the Maasai giraffe are likely to be seen. The best time to view the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro is in the morning and evening subject to the weather conditions Dinner and overnight Amboseli Serena Lodge on (Full Board).

After breakfast we drive to Namanga border for immigration clearance to cross the border to Tanzania Arusha for your lunch, thereafter, depart Arusha to Tarangire National Park arriving in the evening. Our accommodation is at Tarangire Sopa Lodge, a tranquil oasis overlooking the rolling plains. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge on (Full Board).  

After breakfast, depart for Game drive in the park, one of the beautiful parks in Tanzania with abundance concentration of animals. Big herds move down from Ngorongoro, Manyara and surrounding game reserve to fetch water and food, as Tarangire is always full of vegetation. Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge on (Full Board).

Breakfast and a morning game drive enroute, we depart for lovely Lake Manyara, mahogany forest, marsh, grass and scrubland. Over 350 species of birds populate the magnificent tangle of vegetation here. Our delexe accomodations at lake Manyara Serena lodge overlook gleaming water, where you may spy the areas pink flamingoes, a frantic counterpoint to the hippos lounging in the lake. After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives, with picnic lunch boxes, an amazing wildlife sanctuary famous for its tree climbing lions and dramatic views. It is located in a depressed valley where the red and brown cliffs of the western wall of Great Rift Valley seem to rise up out of the lake itself. Springs rising from the base of the escarpment provide a welcome water supply. Manyara includes a variety of habitats, home to a variety of big game and a rich assortment of birdlife. A lovely drive takes us to Ngorongoro Crater, where our lodge sits dramatically on the rim of the crater, revealing an awesome panorama of the world’s, unflooded and unbroken caldera. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is an architectural marvel built on the rim of the undisturbed eastern side of the crater. Designed to reflect the vastness of the African bush. Today we descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for full day crater tour. Here you will spend the better part of the day tracking animals, flora, fauna and birdlife. This magnificent amphitheater contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa including high density of lions and thousands of flamingoes inhabiting an alkaline lake. After breakfast, we drive to the Serengeti. We visit Olduvai Gorge en route, where the Leakey family made illustrious discoveries including the fossil of Homo Habilis, living 1,75 million years ago. In Serengeti, we find ourselves deep in the heart of the savannah on the famous migration corridor. In addition, with two full days of game runs. We have many opportunities to discover why this land is indeed legendary. Our accommodation today, Mbuzi Mawe is a superbly luxurious tented Camp guarded by sentinel towers of three million-year old granite. Located in the epicenter of Serengeti’s annual migration Corridor, the camp provides a ringside set to this grand spectacle. After breakfast, drive to Isibania Border (Tanzania). Go through customs and immigration and fly to Masai Mara.  Arrive Mara in time for check in and lunch at Mara Leisure Camp. Afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, and Buffalo. Dinner and overnight at luxurious Mara Leisure Camp on (Full Board).

Early morning breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions and the annual wildebeest migration. You will have a picnic lunch and continue with the game drives arriving at the camp in the evening for a well-deserved rest and hot relaxing shower. Breakfast and one last look, and we fly back to Nairobi and check in at Tamarind Tree Hotel where a day room has been reserved for our comfort while we enjoy a final day to shop or revisit a favourite site. Later this evening we transfer to the airport for your onward flight. As we leave Africa, we know in our hearts that the old adage is true: you may leave Africa, but Africa will never leave you!
