Overview.
Enjoy an old-fashioned childhood experience on this great family safari. Combine colorful cultures and extra ordinary game viewing experience with fun activities keep, the little one’s excited and entertained. With the supervision of qualified guides and child minders, they will be able to go on nature walks, collecting feathers, learning to shoot bow and arrow, learning, and exploring many other activities in safety.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, your Soin Africa Representative who will be waiting for you at the arrival lounge with a paging board bearing your name will meet you. If you wish to change some money into the local currency, we advise you do it at the Airport bureaus before you arrive at the immigration de. It is advisable to change Euros into Kenya shillings and use the USD for Visa payments. Overnight at Tamarind Tree hotel on (Bed and Breakfast)
Guests depart after breakfast, for Giraffe Centre and the Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage via Nairobi’s suburbs. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with and learn more about orphaned elephants and rhino. The Giraffe Centre gives guests the opportunity to see and feed the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe. From there we proceed to the Langata Ostrich Farm where we will feed and observe these phenomenal feathery creatures. The family enjoy lunch at a city restaurant before departing for the Great Rift Valley; En-route the tour stops at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint from where guests enjoy sweeping views over the Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge on (Full Board).
Guests spend a full day at Lake Naivasha and enjoy activities on offer. Children are invited to participate in organized activities include a bird walk, the planting of trees to aid afforestation and a talk on the contribution of birds to the ecosystem as a whole. Lunch is served at the lodge. Children are offered free golf lesson in the afternoon on one of Africa’s most impressive golf courses. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge on (Full Board).
After breakfast, the tour departs for the Ol Pejeta conservancy. The Ol Pejeta conservancy is considered by many to be the leading conservancy in Kenya, if not in Africa. The conservancy is home to Black and White Rhino, large predators and the only chimpanzee sanctuary in the country. The afternoon game drive is not to be missed. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp on (Full Board)
After breakfast, spend the day at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Activities of the day include a visit to the Morani Rhino Center. Sweetwaters overlooks on of the busiest waterholes and offers travelers an unforgettable opportunity to photograph elephant, giraffe and host of plains game during daily game runs and from comfort of their tents. Because Sweetwaters is a private Camp, night game runs are possible. You will thrill to the nocturnal world that exists side-by-side, yet unseen Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp on (Full Board)
After breakfast, guests depart for Samburu Intrepid in the Samburu Game Reserve. Rugged, and remote, Samburu hosts the ‘special Five’- the Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich and Gevy’s Zebra. It is an extraordinary game viewing experience. Doum palms, Ewaso Ng’iro River. Visitors enjoy a morning and an afternoon game drive with expert guide from Samburu tribe. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepid Camp on (Full Board).

The tour departs, on a scheduled flight, for Mara Intrepids Camp in the Masai Mara Game reserve. The camp is ideally situated on the Talek River for the wildebeest migration (August-October). At other times of the year, Mara Intrepids offers some of the finest ‘Big Five’ sightings in the Mara. Visitors enjoy an afternoon game drive. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids Camp on (Full Board).
Optional excursion: An early-morning hot air balloon flight. A champagne -style breakfast is included. Guests embark on an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge to spend the hottest hours at leisure. The cooler hours, in the early morning and the late afternoon, provide for the best game viewing opportunities. The afternoon game drive is not to be missed. Children are invited to participate in organized activities. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner at Mara Intrepids Camp on (Full Board).
One last look at the Mara and we fly back to Nairobi in the morning. We check into our hotel enjoying a final day to shop or repack. After dinner, we proceed to the airport for our return flight.
