This picturesque park located in Samburu district in the Rift valley Province of Kenya is rugged open savannah renowned for rare species of animals unique to the park. These species include the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx and Somali ostrich. These are more common to see in the dry season when all animals converge at Uaso Nyiro River. With over 450 species of birds, this reserve is utopia for bird lovers.
