Day 01: Arrival and transfer
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be transferred to Hotel Mille Collins for an overnight stay (Bed and Breakfast)
Day 02: Kigali City tour and transfer to Nyungwe forest
After breakfast, you will have a city tour in Kigali where you may visit the Genocide memorial sites at Gisozi, as well as the local craft markets in Kigali town. You will thereafter be transferred to Volcanoes National Park. This park is a home to the rare mountain Gorillas; visitors to this park enjoy a unique Gorilla tracking experience. You will check in at Mountain Gorilla view lodge for dinner and overnight (Full Board)
Day 03: Mountain Gorilla tracking at Volcanoes National Park
After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and orientation on how the whole process will be conducted from the start to the end. You will then be led by your guide into the forest to start your Gorilla tracking experience. During your gorilla tracking experience, you may also encounter other primate and different bird species. You will then return to the park headquarters for your gorilla tracking certificates. Later in the evening depending on time, you may also visit the local Ib’Iwachu communities for a cultural experience. Later in the evening, return to Mountain Gorilla View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (Full Board)
Day 04: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, Uganda
This day you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. This park is located in the impenetrable forests in Uganda and is a home to over half of the rare mountain Gorillas as well as other primate species. You will arrive to the park later in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Haven Lodge (Full Board)
Day 05: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi
After your breakfast and well equipped with your packed lunch, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing and orientation on how the whole process will be done. You will be then be separated in to groups depending on the allocated gorilla tracking group. The guide will lead you through the forest for your Gorilla tracking experience and once the gorillas have been tracked, you will be given one hour to interact with the gorillas for taking pictures and videos.
After the Gorilla tracking experience and time permitting, you may also have a community tour of the local Batwa communities who inhabit the forests for a cultural experience.
Later in the evening, you will return to Haven Lodge for dinner and overnight (Full Board)
Day 06: Transfer to Ishasha, Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After your breakfast, prepare for a transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This woodland sector is well known for its tree climbing lions. Upon arrival, you will check in at Ishasha wilderness camp for lunch and relaxation, later in the afternoon you will go for a sunset game drive at the Ishasha in search for these tree climbing lions. Return for your dinner and overnight at Ishasha wilderness camp (Full Board)
Day 07: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will have another game drive and later transferred to the northern circuit of Queen Elizabeth National park. Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the popular tourism destinations in Uganda rich with a diversity of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Dinner and overnight will be at Mweya Safari lodge Luxury tents.
Day 08: Game drive and Boat Cruise at Queen Elizabeth National park
After your breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive in the park to catch up with the early risers and the nocturnal that may be returning to their hideouts. During the game drive, you may encounter different animal species that include lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, kingfishers, pelican and many more.
Later in the afternoon after your lunch, you will proceed for a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. At the comfort of your boat, you will see probably the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants are also seen at the water edges. You will also encounter different bird species. Later in the evening, return to Mweya Luxury tents for dinner and overnight.
Day 09: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park
You will be transferred to Kibale forest National Park after your breakfast. Kibale forest National Park, commonly referred to as the “Primate’s capital of the world” is a home to man’s closest relatives, the chimpanzees as well as other primate species such as the black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys and many more, including different species of birds and butterflies. Dinner and overnight will be at Primates Lodge Forest Cottages (Full Board)
Day 10: Chimpanzee tracking at Kibale forest National Park
After your breakfast, proceed for a briefing by the guides and rangers on how to conduct your self during the chimpanzee tracking experience. You will then be led by your guide into Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee tracking experience. You may also encounter other different primate species such as the black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys as well different bird species that may also be encountered.
After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will proceed to Tinka’s home stead for a locally prepared lunch cuisine and thereafter proceed for a swamp walk at Bigodi wetland sanctuary. During the swamp walk, you will encounter different bird species, as well as some primate species such as the black and while colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and the red colobus monkeys. Return to Primates Lodge Forest Cottages for dinner and overnight
Day 11: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park
After breakfast, prepare for a transfer to Murchison falls National Park. Your guide will transfer you to Boma grounds Fort Portal for your flight to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is one of Uganda’s most famous tourism destinations famous for the powerful Murchison falls, where the mighty river Nile explodes violently forming a very powerful waterfall. The park is also a home to different animal species such as the Giraffes, leopards, Lions, Buffaloes and many more.
Upon arrival, you will have a simple game drive on your way to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Accommodation will be at Baker’s Lodge (Full Board).
Day 12: Game drive and bottom of the falls Boat cruise
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the park. During your game drive, you may encounter different animal species such as Giraffes, Leopards, Elephants, Lions, Uganda kob and many others. Nocturnal species common in this area are; Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls, and a plethora of spectacular Nightjars, such as Long-tailed and Pennat-winged Nightjar, The mind-blowing Standard-winged Nightjar.
Return for lunch and then go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. At the comfort of your boat, you will see lots of hippos, crocodiles, as well as elephants and buffaloes at the water edges. Different bird species will also be encountered during your boat cruise.
Later in the evening, you will have an evening top of the falls hike to the powerful Murchison falls. Here you will get closer to the site where the Nile explodes violently, forming a very powerful waterfall. Return for dinner and overnight at Parra safari lodge

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala.
This day you will be transferred to Kampala after your breakfast. En route, you will visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary; this is the only home to the rhinos in the wild in Uganda. You will enjoy a rhino tracking experience at Ziwa, thereafter proceed to Kampala for a city tour. In the city tour, you will visit the Uganda Museum, and Namugongo Martyrs shrines.
Later in the evening, check in at Humuria Hotel Kampala for refreshing, before proceeding to Ndere cultural center for cultural performances and dinner (Ndere is only open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). Return to your hotel for an overnight stay on Bed and Breakfast
Day 14: Preparations and transfer
After your breakfast and depending on time, you may visit the craft markets in Kampala for gifts and souvenirs and later be transferred to Entebbe airport for your International flight.
